Awesome Hoover Dam Construction Project

This last weekend, I travelled from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon and passed over the Hoover Dam on the way.

At the Hoover Dam, they are building a massive 2,000 foot long bypass bridge 900 feet above the Colorado River.  Truly an incredible piece of construction.

The Hoover Dam by itself is already a majestic piece of construction; add a state of the art bypass bridge to it, and you've got one of the best engineering humanity has to offer. Can't wait to see this finished.
