Read this blog today and thought there was a good article on how the New York Times is about to embark on charging its readers for digital content after years of providing that same information for free. Take a quick look:

This is the spot that most reprographers are going to find themselves in (if not there already). Stuck between the constant pressure to provide digital documents and the need to keep your doors open and pay your employees.
How can you do what this author suggests? Charge for the digital content but maybe throw in some other twist to make your customers assign more value to it now that you're charging for it. Ay, there's the rub.
